Visual Air had the pleasure of filming the 2016 JBay Open over a 10-day period with great success. This public event was broadcast live internationally and was the first of its kind in South Africa to be filmed legally utilising RPAS. During the event we did not have any incidents and achieved great footage.
Filming sporting events is but one of Visual Air’s specialities and much of its success lies with the use of experienced camera operators and skilful pilots, no shoot is too big or too small for Visual Air. We at Visual Air love our work and that is why we are so good at it.

Visual Air was given the honour of filming this amazing sculpture from the air. The Nelson Mandela sculpture is situated at the Mandela Capture Site, near Howick.
Created by Marco Cianfanelli, the work is made from 50 steel columns that create Nelson Mandela’s head when viewed from the correct distance and angle.
